/  Roadmap  /
When freshly joining an early-stage startup, how should the full-stack designer specify the design missions step by step?
/  Background  /
Located at the Silicon Valley, Mindesk is a typical startup, who won a hackathon, graduated from a great incubator, becomes the leader with exclusive solution in the field. With fully use of the priority of XR, it breaks the window, the 2D digital screen, and brings 3D designers directly into their creations, where they will perceive and create in a most intuitive and natural way.
/  Phenomena  /
At the start, the first smell of the company’s design style counts a lot. If there’s no apparent clue, a designer has to explore to build one; if there are, your main task would be fully understanding and strengthening it. Fortunately, Mindesk has a clear and unique aesthetic gene.
/  Mission  /
At the time my joining in Mindesk, it stood in front of a big milestone - the release of the first official version, following with two main directions to go in terms of the company level: marketing and user education. Regarding to marketing, the core is to build up multiple channels both online and offline to reach a larger mount of potential users; by having them, the next core is to educate the users fast mastering it. The Target Audience is the key.

/  Conclusion  /
Design never stays away from visuals, yet it's not only about visuals. Strategic product thinking, effective problem solving, mindful decision making are the strong base of the tall building. In an early stage startup,  a designer should firstly clarify and deeply understand the real design requirements before getting hands quite dirty. Thus, the visualization can accurately translate requirements to deliver the product with the most appropriate visuals.
